I would think to believe in ghost would neccessitate the same convictions that lead someone to believe in a soul existing. Meaning that those who believe in souls believe in ghost (spirts) and vice versa. Might be a good tangent thought to qualify ones own personal belief in ghosts.
Well, seeing that this is an 'open' discussion; I was told I saw a ghost when I was young - my mother was convinced I had.
I have often wondered though, if ghosts are what they are supposed to be.
Ever walked into a room, and felt you could cut the air with a knife ? - the atmosphere was so tangible ? I often wonder if we don't leave residual 'emotions/feelings' traces, in certain places.
I do dowsing; I can dowse over a photograph of an oil painting. I'll pick up all the materials that make up the photo. When I dowse over the painting, I can pick up moods, a 'sex' - somehow, there is a part of the artist 'snapshot' into his work.......
probably why a live concert is so much better than seeing the same thing on T.V.
I do have an open mind over this, but I have often wondered, if we feel a very strong emotion, if we don't 'leave a bit of ourselves' at that place (an electromagnetic image of some sort ?)
