I can't view the site, but I've been looking forward to seeing R'ash on the big screen. He's always struck me as a better villain than the likes of the Joker, Penguin, Bane, Crock, etc.

It's too bad we won't have the same voice as the animated series. Whoever played him (and Irenicus' voice in Baldur's Gate II) hit R'as' voice just right.

It seems to be a step in the right direction and an area of Batman's life not yet explored on the big screen. After the last 4 Batman films (Michael Keaton/Val Kilmer/Gerry Clooney as Batman, give me a break!!) this seems to be taking the mythos a little more seriously and getting back to the roots of how and why Bruce Wayne became Batman. I even approve of their choice to play the lead. When the best Batman movie that was ever made is BATMAN: Mask Of The Phantasm it would be refreshing to see a live action version that stands for what the character represents-justice.

I'm excited to see it. Not sure if I'll go opening night. I don't care that much. But I am definitely looking forward to it. It looks to be closer to the comics than the first 4.

I've heard a lot of good things about this, but I can't view any images on this computer. So, I must ask:

How good does R'as look?

I hope the costumes are better than the last four movies...

I believe they are basing the costume on the concepts of Kelly Jones when Doug Moench was writing BATMAN. It is a full body suit minus the bat in the yellow oval chest emblem. The armor/padding is also carved differently from the other movies.

OK, thanks. I was kind of wondering, since I couldn't see it.

I hope it turns out better than the previous armored batmen (and I like the costume you sometimes see in the comics with a grey oval).

I think it's possible to do a really awesome Batman movie, but I'm suspicious about this one. I watched the trailer, and I don't know what I think about all of the kung-fu in the jungle stuff they got goin' on. Batman was an entrepreneur, not the last Samurai.

Now that sounds good. It'll actually be good to see Batman doing som karate-chopping in the movie like he does the comics.

I have a feeling we are going to see a great deal of Bruce Wayne out of costume more than we are going to see him in it. I predict the movie will be a bit slow in developing with maybe the last 30 mins. of seeing BATMAN in costume. Remember, the movie is geared towards the explanation of how BATMAN became BATMAN. If handled correctly this could still be an entertaining film.

I like my superhero movies, so I might go see this one...I get in for kids prices anyway, so it won't cost me too much. :p

HOLY CRAP THIS MOVIE IS GONNA ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:jam:
and i hear the team is signing on to make it a trilogy...if they keep the sort of gritty "Dark Knight" feel to them i have no complaints!
Christian Bale looks like a pretty good pick for the young Bruce Wayne!
