The only battle where there are actual winners is the battle that is never fought. JMHO.

Not what I meant. In Buddhism, Buddha is eternal, while the gods are subject to death and rebirth.

So, Buddha wins, because he's untouchable and undying. :D

I thought in Buddhism, nothing was eternal.

When I heard J. Robert Oppenheimer quote it referring to the Trinity test, I also thought it was Shiva, owing to His role as destroyer, who spoke the line. Actually it was Krishna who said it to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. ;)

"The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: Time I am, the great destroyer of the worlds, and I have come here to destroy all people. With the exception of you [the Pandavas], all the soldiers here on both sides will be slain." Bhagavad Gita 11.32

Oppenheimer translated it (he knew Sanskrit) as "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."

However, I have to write in Vishnu. Any god who can transform into half lion and half man (among other incarnations), and literally rip someone's guts out then wear them around His neck as a garland, ride an eagle, fling the discus and wield the mace the way He can is a force to be reckoned with. Haribol!

On the list, I'm gonna say Jewish Yahweh.
Or Kālī. They have NOTHING on Kālī.
