Whiskey, not whisky?

These things are important when you're a bit squiffy.

Try to stay on topic!

I'm drinking Oakham Eugene's Lair. Pale, dry, fruity...

I am not a beer drinker myself. Vodka is pretty nice. I am not much of a drinker anymore though. It was more of a "teen" thing for me.

I listed my favorites because I don't really drink too often period

I'm a social drinker and not beer often. I'm more a rum or wine person

We made an Orange zest, Biscuit malt, Earl Grey Tea beer that turned out quite tasty. It's a bit sweet, almost a bit soda like, but otherwise refreshing.

Right now, we're conditioning a Kiwi/Lavender ale, and the little sampling I've done seems promising. A bit bitter though. The kiwis were quite fresh and young, not at sweet and aromatic as expected.

I'm going to make a beer ice cream again this weekend. I just have to...

Why? Because Scotch is whisky, and Bourbon is whiskey.
And while the former is fine, the latter makes up the bulk of my cabinet.

I'll drink a Yuengling every now and then, and occasionally a Guinness. I like to try craft beers when I find them as singles.

I like thick, rich, dark beers. Also fruit beers. And whatever sort of beers that you put oranges in, like Blue Moon and Oberon. I'm a huge fan of testing out microbreweries.

Anything but Pale Ales and that yellow water that makes up the bulk of cheap American stalwarts, like Bud and Miller and Coors.

Indian Pale Ale is my favourite,
But a nicely hopped Pale Ale will due quite well.

Dark India Pale Ale is probably my favourite style right now though.
Nice roasted balance to the floral hopliciousness.

I can't do anything remotely hoppy. Which always prompts my boyfriend to ask "Why do you prefer the sad beers?"

There are many stouts out there that are similar in IBUs to some lower range IPAs...
Still pretty bitter w/out the hops bite.

Common misconception.

But at any rate... more hops for me. :D
