Matthew 24:4-14

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man lead you astray. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and shall lead many astray. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled: for 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines and earthquakes in divers places. 8 But all these things are the beginning of travail. 9 Then shall they deliver you up unto tribulation, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all the nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall many stumble, and shall deliver up one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray. 12 And because iniquity shall be multiplied, the love of the many shall wax cold. 13 But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come.

2 Timothy 3:1-9

1 But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; 5 holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore. From these also turn away. 6 For of these are they that creep into houses, and take captive silly women laden with sins, led away by divers lusts, 7 ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 And even as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also withstand the truth. Men corrupted in mind, reprobate concerning the faith. 9 But they shall proceed no further. For their folly shall be evident unto all men, as theirs also came to be.

I want you guys to see what this world is coming to. I want you to at least have a thought of God, then hopefully git to know our Creator, our Father. This is a call for repentance so that you may get to know God. I hope by you reading this you will come back to God and get to know His Love for us. Most people think that He is just an angry guy that just likes to punish us. I had someone say to me "God is just a PMSing b****." If only you guys knew Him, you would see what you were being offered and bless Him without cease.

I am only letting those who have ears hear, it's their choice whether to believe or not. I am educating, after all this is the religious education forums. I am showing people what Scriptures say and thus educating. Besides, there is no doubt that there are people who were converted to a certain religion by being in these forums.

Perhaps if you posted in a way that you could discuss scriptures or put it in the DIR thread, you could have a discussion but not try to preach or appear to try to convert people to your way of believing...........Just a suggestion....

Then you use "the end" as some kind of fear tactic. Presenting reward or punishment as the reason to repent will attract only fools. Using these as bait leads me to presume this is why you've repented in the first place. Not good enough.

Matthew, you are seriously asking for trouble by proselytising. You are showing people what your scriptures say. Not everyone accepts your scriptures. I can 100% guarantee that if you don't stop telling people to repent, you'll wish you had. There are other forums where proselytising is permitted. Perhaps you should look for one of them.

Has God not choosen the foolish and base to put to shame the wise and the learned. The wrath of God has been and is being revealed from heaven against all ungodliness of men. Some things are unseen by the eyes of men but this does not make it untrue. My belief

christ is our refuge from the storm he is my belief.And in a way I guess I dont have any real way to talk about him that wouldnt seem like I was proselytising.

If you take a close look at scripture, you'll find that Jesus went about proclaiming the gospel: "Turn your lives around, because God's imperial rule has come near." Not an end-times scare-tactic, but a call to responsibility in God's world.

The beginning of the end? I think no. I think - the end of the beginning. I think that's where we, as the human race, are - right this minute. Some people choose not to see it this way though. Some people see the beginning starting to change, and pronounce it a death. That this change they are seeing is an end to the world as they know it, and they fear this. Well - they'd be right of course - the world IS ending as we know it. It's doing so every day, every hour, every minute! But I think that's the beauty of it. I see it as more of the death of a caterpillar. I think that soon enough, we'll burst from the world we know now, as a species of beauty, of higher consciousness, and - like the butterfly - free. That's how I see it. I WANT to see the world changed as we know it. I want a new adventure! Let this world die, so that it may give birth to a newer, better one. I find it a pity some people choose to see no further beyond the death.

But then - I could be completely mistaken and I could be wrong entirely. (I certainly hope not ^_^)

Sure you do. You probably just don't understand how the term "proselytising" is used on RF. You can talk about your religion all you want. You can tell everybody how great it is. You can encourage people to learn more about it. The only thing you can't do is to tell people that the God you believe in is going to condemn them forever if they don't accept Him. You can believe that to be the case. You just can't say so on RF -- at least not without having to pay the consequences. ;)

When Jerusalem is surrounded by the world's armies, then you can worry or be happy depending on your relationship with God.

But you see the end times have been drawing nearer and nearer for a long time now. Near is a very relative word. Only God knows when the end of days shall come. I'm not a big of propagandistic (made up word) or fear mongering when I try to witness to people but for those with real questions I'd be happy to answer :D Please also note that all people, even us Christians, sometimes especially us Christians sin so we must ALL do our best work to repent.
