Being vigilant

I would say that in the world of God, you need to be vigilant. It's not because a voice tell you do that or this that you should do it. Yes obeying to God, not eating bad food.

The weather has been very warm. I don't think Salix has been wearing his vesti, just his shirti.
Actually, I have to wear a vesti over my shirti at my new job. But I'm off today, so on my day off, the vesti isn't right for me today, since we can't remove our vestis from the building.

So, to be vigilant, I should become a sort of theological restaurant critic?
Nah, I'd take it to mean you need to create the theological Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to keep everyone from eating bad food to begin with. Be vigilant, so the everyday citizen doesn't have to!
