Benefits of cow urine for Hindus

We can never discount the western medicine 'experts' predisposed bias to any other method. It's an egocentric (only we know what is best) view and as a result mankind has lost the knowledge of many useful herbs ... from indigenous people everywhere. (I'm particularly saddened about the First People's lost knowledge here in North America). When the conquerors were telling, they ought to have been listening.

Ayurveda is a Vedic science, experimented with, and discovered a very long time ago.

Actually, urine is only sterile while it's in the bladder. Once it passes through the urethra it is no longer sterile as the urethra has its own fauna.

Really, I thought that it was bacteria from the vaginal area, it has normal fauna, but when it gets into the urethra it can cause infection.

Nothing in the body is sterile (see the link, not even the brain). It is always symbiosis, existing together,
many a times for mutual benefit. The 8,400,000 jivas.

Nope. Even the male urethra has its native fauna. This bacteria actually aids us by preventing the harmful bacteria from getting over zealous. The reason men tend to suffer fewer UTIs is due to the length of their urethra which means there is much more healthy bacteria protecting them. Adversely this is why UTIs in men tend to be much more severe.
