This is a somewhat difficult post to write, and I am not sure it is in the right place. I am informed that most of the cases of this arise at over age 65, so I picked Retirement. On January 20, 2024 I suffered a significant attack of Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (embedded link). When I woke up severely dizzy around 4:30 a.m., after going to the restroom I took my temperature (normal) and my blood pressure (also normal, but when I had something like this years ago it had spiked.
I saw my internist the following Tuesday, and a neurologist a week later. Since then , I have been recovering, with some issues. It is bad enough that I canceled a pending trip to Israel in March.
