BEOVIZIJA is Serbia's national final for the Eurovision Song Contest - this year, the artist who wins BEOVIZIJA will compete against Europe's artists in Helsinki, Finland.

There are many excellent contestants this year, here are my top three favorites!

Cool! What happend to Emina, and all those famous singers going for Serbia's Eurovision?

Anyways, I like Amadeus band a lot, so I would go with them... These girl's aren't that great...And Jelena Kovacevic's Senjorita reminds me of Bebi Doll's Brazil.. Not great! :D

It is similar to Brazil now that you mention it!

I like Aleksandra Perovic, though. She could get a lot of votes on her body alone - hahaha. What is she, 6'6" I believe?

I love her Vojvodinian accent in Senjorita. Jelena Kovacevic has to be from Novi Sad, possibly even Subotica... she just has the most beautiful, subtle nasal, crisp and clear Vojvodinian accent I've ever heard. :)

BEOVIZIJA FINAL has started! It opened with a cover of Lordi's Hard Rock Halleuja, and now the hosts are chatting. Baby Doll is in the audience, they did a close up! :)

All of ex-Yu's entries are giving performances tonight in addition to the Serbian competition, except MOntenegro - which wasn't invited.

Peca Jovanovic is performing his song. It's a Serbian folk song that has done well with the judges but not with televoters. His performance is good, but the song is average.

Miki Peric is now performing his entry. Again it's an average song - something that would play at a cafe here and affect everyone for the happiness, but not be consciously noticed by anyone.

LOL Miki reminds me EXACTLY of karaoke at the bar. lol Bad, 3 a.m., drunken karaoke. lol With a few diehard alcoholic fans hanging on every word.

Even the sound quality of his performance is the same. LMAO

I want to hold up a lighter.

Now it's a commercial segment. Commercials for beauty salons and newspapers...banks, cars... lol SERBIAN-MADE cars, which is even funnier.

Oh God... strobe lights and a deep voice introducing the next little box-Yugo Zastava. LMAO I love it!

Clothes softener commercial. "Just like in America!" lol

Hosts are back, Jelena (female host) is singing Turkey's winning 2003 entry - in Muslim clothes. lol

Negativ, one of the crowd favorites, is performing now. They're a very funky alternative band, led - of course - by a gorgeous woman.

Now it's the girl band Betty Boop. They're four teenage girls, all holding their own guitars and wearing army-style funk clothes. Their singing is, of course, teenage. It feels like something you'd see in a Disney movie.

Now Jelena (host) is singing Greece's entry from 2005 - it sounds like she's making fun of the singer more than trying to do an imitation. It's much more distant from the original than her performance of Turkey's song.

After each song she sings, she's out of breath and sounds like she's having sex if you don't watch. LMAO

"Next we have... ooh! Well, what do you think of the show tonight? Ahhh.,.." LOL

Now one of the big entries of the night, Slobodan Trkulja and Balkanopolis. The song is an Orthodox Christian Church song with modern lyrics. It went over very well in the semi-final and is considered by most one of the two most likely to win.
