The rise and fall of Germany a study about humans. We can and did learn a great deal from it. Start from the end of WWI and End with the merging of East and West Germany.

By interesting you mean "almost schizophrenic" at times.
How so?
We/they got so close to reconciliation countless times. The pacific portion of WW2 was hardly set in stone. Japan's foray into China was happily ignored by 9/10ths of the world because...China, if I'm honest.
