In honor of the pizza thread, what is the greatest beverage of all time? Your options are:

1). Tea (of any sort, hot, cold, chai, thai, green, black, white, whatever)
2). Coke
3). Dr Pepper
4). Pepsi
5). Coffee (anyone who selects this will be burned at the stake :biglaugh:)
6). Some form of alchoholic beverage
7). Something else
8). Still another thing.

Tea wins it out for me...but Dr Pepper and Hot Cocoa can give it a run for its money.

I'll have to go with DXM in a citric acid base. It's not how it tastes, it's the effect it has on me. Wonderful...

Pepsi cola.

A close second for me is good old plain water.
After a heart fib almost a year ago, I instantly cut out coffee.
Although it may sound a bit disgusting,, I now rather enjoy a cup of HOT water in the morning. My granny, who is now 101, has done this for years and she calls it "silver tea". I hope to break her wonderful record, but she is showing no signs of slowing down just yet (and I am only 1/2 way to her current record.)

If I was stranded on a desert island and could only have one of the beverages listed in the OP, I would have to choose beer! But not just any old beer (microbrewed or Fat Tire) and of course water would be provided on the island so I wouldn't have to choose between beer and water.:D

Chocolate milk and grape juice. I don't drink (I'm 16) and while I enjoy soda, I highly enjoy chocolate milk and grape juice (if I had to pick one I'd pick chocolate milk)

But wouldn't the water be salt-water, and therefore not fit to drink? Or would this water come from fresh-water sources on the actual island?
Of course there would be fresh water trickling down the pristine mountainside so we wouldn't have to worry about water and could focus on the beer silly!

Ah, but next to that pristine river would be a field of camellia sinensis bushes, whose leaves help to make the greatest of all beverages...and they may even be at the most tender stage to produce the white form of the beverage. Coupled with the nearby beehives, it would form the ideal drink. :p
