Beware! Lest the Globe turns to a blazing inferno!

Predicting natural events without any date nor location makes it a guess not a prophecy. Anyone can do that. Heck I can do this with more detail than your so-called prophet.
There will be an earthquake in Japan in the next 20 years. An American hockey team will win the Stanley Cup this year. It will snow in Canada...

The setting or time frame for Revelation 1:10 takes place within our time frame.
Jesus gave us a composite sign that had two fulfillments:
One part, or the minor first part, was when unfaithful Jerusalem was destroyed by the Roman armies in the year 70. - Luke 19:43-44; Luke 21:20-21
The major part is for our day or time frame - Luke 21:11
Luke used the adjective " great " to describe the types of earthquakes now happening on earth, to be happening before Jesus begins his 1,000-year governmental rulership over earth.
Jesus Never taught that such events were acts of God, but just taught that such things would be happening on earth before we see divine involvement into mankind's affairs.

Could politics with mere science, devoid of real ethics/morals/spirituality turn the Globe into an inferno?
Regards

I could suppose man ( political and 'mere' science ) left on his own could bring about annihilation - Ecclesiastes 8:9
If it were Not for God's purpose that earth always be here and inhabited - Ecclesiastes 1:4 B; Isaiah 45:18 - then man with his modern technology could go on producing more-and-more senseless weapons every day creating more doom-and-gloom for earth. It is mankind who sets the hands on the Doom's Day Clock set close to striking the dark midnight hour.
Whereas, what the Bible really teaches is that God will have Jesus come to mankind's rescue (deliverance) before our Globe can become an inferno.
Jesus, as Prince of Peace, will usher in Global Peace on Earth among men of goodwill - Isaiah 11:3-4; Revelation 19:11; Revelation 19:15; Matthew 25:31-33,37; Revelation 22:2
Those who would bring ruin to earth will be stopped and brought to their ruin - Revelation 11:18 B; Psalms 92:7

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad prophesied and gave a timely warning. If the world does not turn to G-d it would see the signs of devastation:
hazrat-mirza-ghulam-ahmad--companions-iii_13905439104_o.jpg

Prophecy of the First World War
A sign will appear some days from now, which shall devastate country and town and meadow. So suddenly will people be seized by divine wrath, an undressed person will have no time to secure his loincloth. They shall all be suddenly shaken by the earthquake; be it men, or trees, or rocks, or oceans. In the twinkling of an eye the earth will be thrown upside down, blood will flow like in streams. Those whose night garments were white as Jasmine, will wake up in the morning clad in red. Men and animals will lose their senses, and pigeons and nightingales will forget their songs. That hour will be hard upon every traveler and every wayfarer will lose his way in agony. With the blood of the dead, Mountain streams will become red as red wine .Men high and low will be convulsed with fear; Even the Czar, at that hour, will be in a wretched state. This sign will be an example of divine wrath, and heaven will attack with a drawn sword...I cannot say with certainty if it will in fact be an earthquake. It may not be an earthquake but some other dire calamity evoking the spectacle of doomsday, the like of which would not have been witnessed by this age, and which would bring about great destruction of life and property. However, if no such extraordinary sign appears and people do not openly reform themselves, then I shall prove to be a liar.

- Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, Barahin-e-Ahamdiyya

Ahmad, writing in 1905, foretold an international catastrophe which would affect both humankind and the environment. He foretold it would be like an earthquake but not an earthquake - 'It may not be an earthquake but some other dire calamity evoking the spectacle of doomsday'. Notably, the Quran has compared war to an earthquake:

O ye who believe! remember the favour of Allah on you when there came down upon you hosts, and We sent against them a wind and hosts that you saw not. And Allah sees what you do. When they came upon you from above you, and from below you, and when your eyes became distracted, and your hearts reached to the throats, and you thought diverse thoughts about Allah. There and then were the believers sorely tried, and they were shaken with a violent shaking.

- Quran 33:10-12

Ahmad's prophecy goes on to foretell bloodshed, death, the end of the Czar (Russia's king at the time), drawn swords (ie violence) and destruction of property, exactly fitting the signs which all occurred nine years later during the First World War. The prophecy also adds the events occurring would be 'the like of which would not have been witnessed by this age' and certainly through human history there had previously been no disaster on the scale of this war.
