Bhuta Shuddi

Earlier today, I heard a video mentioning something called 'Bhuta Shuddi'.

What is this?

Sadguru is a showman, therefore, I am not surprised that he (or his desciples) will come up new mumbo-jumbos to increase their tribe, in his life-time or after. The elite, the rich (to feel that they are better than the hoi-polloi, who would not understand Bhoot-Shuddhi) like that (same for SriSri Ravishankar). For the Hindu masses, it means nothing. They are not going for any Bhoot-Shuddhi.

That is my view. I do not take anything that Sadhguru says seriously.

Bhuta (element) and shuddhi (purification/cleansing), in my understanding, is a sadhana for the purpose of purifying the five elements (earth [pritvi], wind [vahu], fire [tejas], water [jala], and space [akasha] and bringing balance of these in the body.

I don't practice it, and don't know much in the way of detail of the practice. There are many instructional pages around the internet, but I won't recommend one because I honestly don't know which is the most accurate.
