Bible ban in Scientific Community- Why?

And because the Spirit of Beauty is active, the optimization of
processes goes on. According to this, a complicated problem can find the
simplest solution. Verily, ``For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and
nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.''
Luke 8:17. Song, book and movie industry, the exhibitions of art, ballet,
international sport, organized education, and the quest for discoveries are
an essential part of humankind's spiritual heritage (spirituality). Spirituality is
larger than Science, but it is the temporary unwell of a post-modern scientific
community and not the fallacy of being an inspired scientist or mathematician.
Hence, even a top science paper with a Bible reference is better to be
accepted if the technical part is flawless.

Methodological Naturalism is the unofficial ban of the Holy Bible.
If I keep the above Bible quote, I will face trouble from a journal.

The Bible banned? It may be irrelevant and so be ignored but banned? Can you give me an example of a scientific ban of The Bible

The Methodological Naturalism is the unofficial ban of the Holy Bible.

Who cares, if it had anything of scientific value then we'd know. The Templeton foundation or the Catholic church would be all over this kind of research, There's a reason illusionists don't divulge their methods, the same reason religions appeal to mystery. You can't scientifically investigate the emperor's new suit, when he is in fact naked.

It really makes me laugh that theists relentlessly attack and deny science, while simultaneously whining that science won't take their archaic unevidenced claims for superstitious magic seriously. Talk about wanting to have your imaginary cake and eat it.

It's not banned you are dreaming again.

Some scientist don't bother with the bible because they consider it superstitious woo. Some scientists do believe the bible, there is at least one on RF.

Generally though, not banned but ignored until you or someone else can provide evidence that it should be investigated.

So the ball is in your court

I just went by the title, i have given uo on trying to understand his posts
Ditto. I am assuming that it refers to some instance of a scientific journal rejecting some religious essay for publication, in the same way a train enthusiast journal would reject publishing an essay on alien invasions from space. :)

The Bible is rarely cited in papers in scientific journals because it says so little of relevance for scientific work.

Congratulations to anyone who understands the original post. I can't understand any of it.

Maybe I can understand it based on the last paragraph. Wish me luck, I'm going in. If I don't make it back, tell my kids I love them...

Methodological naturalism isn't a 'bible ban'. It is an agreed approach to science whereby only things that can be scientifically tested are included in science.

It allows for believers and non-believers alike to agree on the scope and boundaries of science, and for science to be both repeatable and falsifiable.

With that understanding, you can add whatever non-scientific wording to an article, experiment or hypothesis you like. It's the scientific equivalent of putting a couple of smiley stickers on the page (ie. Apropos of nothing)
