A good start would be to convict and imprison Trump for attempting to overthrow the election result. That is the most serious corruption of all in a democracy.

The next step would be to get the money out of US politics. Impose a rule that no candidate can spend more than, say, $10m promoting their campaign and that the source of all contributions should be publicly available.

While I won't say it didn't happen, every allegation coming from the pubs smells of attempts to detract from their own and especially Trump's misdeeds.

An FD 1023 (a form anyone can fill out) filled out by a Ukrainian oligarch that now lives in Russia laundered though Rudy G. Investigated by the FBI who decided there was nothing to pursue.

To be clear, that doesn't make it false, but it does severely harm it's credibility.
