Biden just gave Hunter a pardon

We Never Know

There it is!! I called that one right back in June.

I do believe Biden will pardon Hunter before he leaves office.

Even Biden in interviews when asked point blank said with a bold face he would not do it lol

All youns that said he wouldn't, he is above doing that, he won't interfere with the justice system, etc... what ya say now.

I'm a little sad.

I admired Biden for not pardoning his son. But now that Presidents are not immune for any criminality, and Trump has said he will pardon the Jan 6 criminals, well, I guess he might as well get some benefit from it. That's the country we live in now, sad to say.
I'm sorry but when Trump ws elected all the rules went out the window. We can all see what Trump is setting up for his administration and it's fair to say that they will go after Hunter in ways that go way beyond anything he's done wrong. I can't blame a father doing something good to protect his son given what's coming to America in the form of a highly corrupt and criminal administration. Remember it's not about justice and geting convictions, it's about ruining the lives of anyone deemed an enemy of Trump. I have no idea how long it will last, but I suspect at some point even republicans will say enough.

*sigh* It’s always Trump’s fault.

He sort of had to. The Republicans gave him a perfectly good excuse to do so. There was a plea bargain that had been agreed to. Hunter was not given a sweetheart deal at all. The Republicans were the ones that made it political and put puts it into the purview of the President.

The law that we was going to be charge with was of questionable constitutionality. It was only used as plea bargain punishment in the past and people accepting plea bargains cannot challenge the laws used in their convictions. They can reject the plea bargain, but then the charges go back to the original ones, not the ones that they were imprisoned under.

I don’t blame a man for using a judicial absurdity to protect his son. Maybe when or if America returns to it’s senses, this prerogative of medieval kings will be jettisoned. But you former colonials have a lot more to worry about than Hunter Biden’s pardon.

Last June? Is that the last tr that you heard Biden tell that he would not interfer?
One more date, please......on what date did Biden give up the Presidency attempt ?

If you know the answer to those questions then that would be very useful.

Biden dropped out in July 2024

In August 2024..
"I can speak for the president, and he said he would not pardon his son. And I’m just going to leave it there," Jean-Pierre said"

In November 2024 when asked again...
"We’ve been asked that question multiple times. Our answer stands, which is no," the press secretary said"

As I posted on another thread, generally speaking I oppose the pardoning process regardless of who's president or which party (s)he is in. With saying that, what about all of Trump's pardons? What about Trump's threats of "retribution", which might have the threat of lengthening Hunter Biden's days in prison?

OK.... Was the election won by Trump at the above time?
You keep digging for excuses.

I do believe Trump was declared the winner Nov 6th.

So...on Nov 7th, after they lost, which is probably why it was asked again...

"During a White House press briefing on Nov. 7, Jean-Pierre again dismissed a question about whether Biden had planned to pardon his son.

"We’ve been asked that question multiple times. Our answer stands, which is no," she said."
