Am I the only one who finds the Biden logo to be ...
... actually, I'm not even sure what the right word might be. And it's not as if they were rushed into coming out with a suitable design.

You didn't even raise any actual objections to it, or point out anything substantial that you found to be wrong with it. You were entirely vague and non-committal.

I don't see anything "wrong" with it. Not even enough to have an opinion over... let alone a negative one that I cannot explain.
Hey, give the guy a break.
He's soliciting commentary.
This is useful on RF.
Without him, you wouldn't have my brilliant preceding post to enjoy.

It looks a but like the Punisher's logo, but sideways.

It also seems like a rip-off of....

I assumed when I saw it that the last one was a Republican Party logo. After all, the red bit could be a stylised elephant - trunk, 4 legs and tail - and it is red.

Much like the candidate himself, it's uninspiring but tolerable.
Exactly.
I really don't care for old school white guy Biden.

But he represents the most likelihood that the USA will change course for the better, provided he gets more support on Capitol Hill. Straight ticket Democrat voter here.

I have no particular love for the Democratic Party, but as a progressive it's the best political vehicle in the US for any hope of implementing policies I favor.

Meh. I don't care.
I don't see anything "wrong" with it.
It's simple, effective, and uncomplicated.
To me a logo is not really important.
Much like the candidate himself, it's uninspiring but tolerable.

Clearly I'm in the minority. :D

I mean, if it were up to me it would be far more visually interesting than it is, but that's not how logo design works. There are certain rules and conventions for it that are followed these days. Which means they are all incredibly boring. Maximum of three colors, all of which have to be high contrast with one another, and no blending the colors together. Has to be big, simple, boring, readable fonts without any interesting flourishes. No artful patterns because those are distracting and hinder readability. Forget about having realistic illustrations of anything. Beautiful watercolors? Nope. It's all boring as hell... logo design. But it does what it is supposed to: present a clean, simple, easy to recognize icon.

I can see that.
But tentacles first came to my mind.
Just wait until you're hauled up in front of your local sweetness and light committee of attitude adjusters for being so negative. They will no doubt suggest most politely that you would have a much happier (and longer) life if you would consent to a purely loving attitude adjustment.
