Biden Out!

Those people are just freaking nuts.

What a pathetic way to qualify somebody for something so complex as running and steering a world nation.
True! She did terribly in the Dem primaries and had to drop out of the race, but she's black, and that was good enough for Joe Biden, and now it's supposed to be good enough for the entire country.

Will you be saying that if a certain segment of society votes for Trump and he wins?
Yes.

If Trump wins the election then he will be President. I think it will be a disaster for your country, for the world , for democracy. But he will be President.

And it will be Harris in the Senate doing her job and counting overseeing the votes.

(again, I condemn all political violence. Which means there is no other choice but to accept the results of the election)

The criticism has been made that Harris cannot criticize Trump for being too old, because Biden was only a few months younger when he received the nomination in 2020. (Trump now technically holds the record for being the oldest nominee ever in a presidential race.) However, that is looking at the race as if it is all about not being able to say negative things about Donald Trump. The proper way to look at it is that Kamala Harris represents the new generation of American leadership. In 2020, Biden said he was going to be just that kind of president--a bridge to a younger generation. For a while, it looked like he would be an obstacle, but now his original promise has come true. That's a positive, not a negative.

Have you somehow forgotten that she is a successful prosecutor, a successful state Attorney General, a successful Senator -- and a successful VP? Do none of those things count as job experience, in your estimation?

And by the way, she was all of those things without her race or gender ever having anything to do with it!

WTF do you think Trump did that qualifies hi to run "something so complex?" Run casinos into the ground? Sham university? What --- tell us?

You're not representing the situation honestly

He wanted to have a VP who was a black woman, yes, but he didn't pick her "simply for being a black woman." In the article you linked it states the following:

He said he is getting a “two-hour vetting report” on each of his potential picks, and that he and his team have gone through “about four candidates” so far. “Then, when I get all the vetting done of all the candidates, then I’m going to narrow the list, and then we’ll see. And then I’m going to have personal discussions with each of the candidates who are left and make a decision,” Biden said.

Biden is considering a broad tier of candidates to be his running mate, after pledging earlier this year to pick a woman for the job. CNN previously reported that Sen. Kamala Harris of California, Rep. Val Demings of Florida, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, former Obama administration national security adviser Susan Rice and Rep. Karen Bass of California are among the Black women being considered.

So if he started with several candidates and narrowed it down to Kamala Harris, how do you think that happened? Why did he pick her out of the many he started with? If it was "simply" because she was a black woman, why go through a vetting process at all to pick the best candidate? She has serious qualifications and has fought to be where she's at now from what I can tell by her political history. It's many decades in the making

Also, what's wrong with picking someone to be your partner with demographics in mind as part of the equation for why you pick them? Trump did this when he picked Mike Pence to legitimize himself to the Christian base in America when he ran in 2016. Biden wanted to reach out to a voting base that doesn't get much attention, and it seems to have helped when he won the presidency in 2020

I think she learned that behavior from her boss who claims some part of whatever demographic or group he was speaking to.
One day she may even claim to have been a male at one point.
Do you think making spurious suggestions like that are clever?

Something has previously occurred to me about this scenario: Democratic voters chose Biden in the primaries, so doesn't dropping out without giving a compelling reason pose a risk of alienating some of those voters or making them feel like the party didn't respect their choice?
Perhaps. But if your highschool teacher signed up to teach you for the whole school year, would you really resent her if she bowed out in February for medical reasons? Are people so shallow as to expect others to live up to their promises, even if they happen to become unexpectly incapacitated?

She's more of a mutt to me, and I can say that because I myself am a mutt as well , but I only check one race and ethnicity on the census form the government sends me.
WTF does it matter if she's a "mutt?" What is it about anybody's parents that define who they are? Does "race" really matter that much to you? Skin colour? Eye shape? Do you think kinky hair impairs intelligence? What are you really suggesting?

C'mon, it's time for you to let it all hang out -- tell us about your race theories of presidential qualification!

She's the one obsessed with her race, it's not me. I'm just stating the facts which is she uses race to her advantage and she changes races just like a chameleon to suit her agenda and her personal ambitions.

So come on it's time for you to let it all hang out. Tell us about your justification on people who use race as a chameleon to suits one's needs and goals that should apply to an office running a major nation. She uses ethnicity and race as a personal tool. Pure and simple. Clearly bothers you enough to defend someone like that.

Does race really matter? That's a good question.

The media is touting her as first "Black" woman and "Asian" American to lead a major party ticket.
(Isn't she also a Black American and Asian woman?)

Why not just say she is the first American woman with Black and Asian heredity to lead a major party ticket?

So evidently race does matter or it wouldn't be pointed out as often as some do it.
