You probably consider that a criticism of Biden and the Democrats and a reason not to vote for Biden. Whatever is the intelligence behind Biden's governance - his own or those of so-called puppeteers - the Biden administration has performed well, first with a friendly Congress, where he successfully administered a vaccine rollout, propped up the economy while saving jobs and businesses, got his Inflation Reduction Act passed ("bring down costs, reduce the deficit, and take aggressive action on climate – all paid for by making sure the largest corporations and billionaire tax cheats finally pay their fair share in taxes"), the Build Back Better initiative ($555 billion for clean energy and climate change provisions, $400 billion for childcare and preschools, $200 billion for child tax and earned income tax credits, $150 billion for home care, $150 billion for housing, $130 billion for Affordable Care Act credits), the PACT Act (to address service members’ exposure to burn pits and other toxins), signed the CHIPS and Science Act President Biden to accelerate semiconductor manufacturing in the United States. He got some gun legislation passed (Safer Communities Act), attempted debt relief for students, and got many drug prices reduced for seniors on Medicare.Biden isn't making the majority of his decisions the puppeteers behind him are. The DNC is willing to let Biden run as long as he can win because it is fairly easy to control what he does.
Whoever is responsible for all of that, give me four more years of it, please!
I think Biden is alert, intelligent, and mentally competent, and Trump has always been a stupid man who has taken to blathering these days. He thought that there were airports during the Revolutionary War. In 2019, "Trump praised the Americans’ military efforts in the war against Great Britain. “Our army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over the airports, it did everything it had to do, and at Fort McHenry, under the rockets’ red glare, it had nothing but victory,” he said."You think Biden could sit down for one hour and answer questions like Trump did in the video above? Biden is cognitively challenged now, just listen to him.
All of the following have come from Trump's mouth in the last week or two: Forgot who his 2016opponent was, didn't know how many World Wars have already transpired, didn't remember that he gave a medal to Dr. Fauci, and thought voter ID is required to buy a loaf of bread. Also, he bragged about "acing" a mental competency test that an 8-year old could pass.
Now he's unwittingly confessing on television. Recently, he confessed to knowing the top secret documents were wanted by the government when he was shuffling them around to hide them, and also that he was in charge in his attorney relationships defeating any reasonable doubt argument that he was just following their advice.
And you prefer that man to Biden anyway, as does about half of America according to early polling regarding a 2024 Biden-Trump rematch.
You're thinking of the Republicans, who want to oppress LGBTQ, force women to have unwanted babies, ban books in schools, gerrymander voting districts, and restrict voting access. The democrats are not governing they are enforcing their rule on us.
Uh, no. That does not describe the Democratic party. That's a caricature generated by conservative indoctrination media. They are threatening parents, spying on Catholics, jailing abortion protesters, putting political opponents in jail, making up crimes of political opponents, protecting Biden and his son for their crimes, protecting Hillary and her crimes, inviting migrants into the country some of them violent or terrorists, spending trillions.
They do more than disagree. They oppress.Disagreeing with LGBTQ is not tyranny
Withdrawing and denying reproductive freedom is.protecting human life is not tyranny
Yes, people are banning access to various books where they can. Fortunately, such books can be gotten anyway, since the Reach of the Republicans is limited to public schools. No one is banning books.
If you're referring to opposing the spread of COVID and vaccine disinformation, and destructive lies about election hoaxes, I support that kind of suppression of speech. When the right uses the word tyranny, they're referring to having to tolerate those with whom they "disagree," like employers who wouldn't hire them unvaccinated and public schools who wouldn't let them enter unmasked.Dems successfully controlled speech through social media. Musk exposed them with twitter. They were in collusion with Twitter to suppress speech they did not like. That is oppression and tyranny.
In the mouths of conservative Americans, I associate the words tyranny and free speech now with selfish tantruming, be that in an airplane or a fast food restaurant, be that Greene objecting to J6 insurrectionists being prosecuted and incarcerated, or be that Trump complaining that his First Amendment rights are being violated by gag order. I am uninterested in what any of those people want or what they call tyranny, and don't care about what they consider their rights to be.
