Bidens debate performance. What do dems think about it?

I think people that think he did well and was not cognitively impaired in some way need to take a step back and watch the debate again. Take a listen to the leaders in the democrat party and analysis by their go to news outlet and think about what they actually saw. Biden's blank stare with mouth open was eerie, he got lost in his own comments many times and lost track completely a couple times as well with what he was saying. A couple times the moderators did not know what he said or meant. I am not saying people need to vote for Trump but Biden cannot be president in his physical shape. He was led off again with very small steps.

Do you really think he is a good choice for President? Do you really think he can do the job for four more years?
I think you are confusing physical infirmity with mental infirmity. I really don't care about his physical capabilities.

Shaky Biden debate performance leads to calls for him to drop out of race and make room for another Democrat candidate—even from supporters

Democrats Discuss Replacing Biden on Presidential Ticket

Well since this election is not about competency on the Republican side, then maybe a switch to Harris who has the voice and command to defeat Trump as his own game and Gretchen Whitmer to convince the center of the country that they have a stake in the game might make a good way to bring the election back from this irrelevant geriatric debate between dementia and physical age.

Biden could actually be the statesman he is and organize it.

"Ok, I have had enough, here is the rational and progressive next step, do you really want the alternative?

To be fair, based on Biden's performance, questions about his competency are not out of line. That was a shambling mess of a debate from his perspective. He gave a speech afterwards, and seemed much more clear, and more lucid. I wonder if he can read a teleprompter, but not engage in the improvisational nature of argumentative communication? It was an odd looking dichotomy.

From the 15 minutes I stomached and what I heard of his later speech, audio was bad for him but his prep for what he should have known was coming was worse. He didn't need to make points so much as fact check Trump and then drop a realistic outline of the future whether scary if Trump or positive.

Well...saw on the news where some said if he had acted that way during the primaries they probably wouldn't have picked him.

Democrats are talking about replacing Joe Biden. That won't be so easy.

Biden debate performance is ‘nightmare’ for Democrats

Presidential debate leaves Biden's campaign in disarray

He could come back and deliver a rousing speech at the Convention and make everyone forget last night. But if he flubs the Convention speech, that may be it.

I'm surprised Trump's pants didn't catch on fire with the constant lying and audible farts

He did horribly, so the question is what's next for the Dems? Tough choice. And the fact that Trump was and is a pathological liar is lost in the shuffle because of the focus is almost entirely on Biden and the Dems.

I'm at a total loss to explain the qualitative and dramatic difference in Biden's coherence and delivery witnessed in two successive appearances

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

Harris would be a female version of Kim Jong Un if she had her way. And remember to stand up and respect her presence whenever she enters the room.

Nothing new was learned during the debate.
As mentioned years ago, when Biden wins he will pass the torch to Kamala in the first year.
The same policies and working class agenda will continue regardless of who's president
The presidency is more than just 1 person, it's a cabinet and an assortment of positions involved with decision making
And let's not forget SCOTUS appointments, I bet many never-Hillary voters didn't take that into account. SCOTUS destroyed because of Trump.
Voting, or lack of, has consequences
