As a Marine Corps veteran I find President Biden’s use of Marines as a political prop reprehensible. The man has sunk to new lows. It was embarrassing.

This is something despots like to do.

Though I don't like the divisiveness of the speech, nor do I like the creepy selection of the background for it, there is a certain contrast I would like to point out. And that is, that recent articles have come out talking about how trump has praised xi and putin. Now I know that twilight hue has posted in defense of taiwan. If trump likes these leaders, how does that influence your view?

What comes to my mind, is the period during the riots, where trump wanted to send to the military into the cities, but there was letter signed in opposition to that, from some people that were militarily important. Also there were some images of him talking around that time, where I think he was surrounded by some tough looking people. In any case, I think that if things were ramped up like he supposedly wanted at that time, that there is no telling what the chain reaction would have been, and what our present would look like
