Big Bang Theory

Jimmy

King Phenomenon
The so called ongoing expansion of the Big Bang I think is false. I think the expansion is driven by infinite space and is expanding infinitely.

And what is your reasoning? I am not even clear of what you mean.

The people who support the Big Bang hypothesis have evidence to support their reasoning.

What about you?
The observable universe that man can study is only a fraction.

Yes, the bb model tells us the universe began around 13.7 billion years ago. So what we actually see at the faresr points of the observerable universe is 13.7 billion light years in the past (the time it takes the light from those objects to reach us).
Since the the universe has been expanding so what we are seeing at those fastest points is now over 46 billion light years away. Making the universe around 93 billion light years across.

You appear to think that the Big Bang was some kind of explosion. It wasn't. It is simply the expansion of the universe out from a singularity. We know this happened and continues to happen, but we don't know why. One of the oddest things is that this expansion is speeding up rather than slowing down or remaining constant. We don't know why that is so either.

I know what the BB is, What I said shouldn’t make you think that I think it was an explosion.

The reason why the universe is speeding up is because of its infinite nature. I think that’s a gimme.

Sorry, I don't follow you. And if it were as obvious as you claim, everyone would agree with you, but they don't.
