That's not even remotely logical, and I'm not an "atheist" btw. There simply is no requisite that one leads to the other. I know a fair number of atheists on a personal basis, for example, and none of them are Communists, although I have met a couple of them on-line who were.

Most of us atheists (and all in know IRL) are capitalists.
Why wouild we want to give up our autonomy to some 'greater good'?
Remember that we're selfish (some unnamed poster here says so).
We want success for ourselves....not to have some party aparatchik take
the fruits of our labors to give to someone else. If we're to be altruistic,
it will be voluntary....not something imposed by a commie state.

One of the biggest problems I see in government is all these believers who
want us to become more socialist so that we're a kinder & gentler society...
