This should be an easy one, unless you are daft and have no idea who James Bond is. It is not multiple choice. Pick your one favorite above all please.

Second. ^_^

However, in terms of movie, I'd have to go with Goldeneye (Brosnan is the best not-Bond, really... then again, I only saw Casino Royale once, and I haven't seen Quantum of Solace, yet.) The reason is because Goldeneye had elements of epics: themes of betrayal and trust run throughout the movie, motivating pretty much every character. The only problem is that it didn't quite play out perfectly: the camp value that Bond is so well known for still took precedent over the epic themes. But, to my knowledge, it's the only Bond film to even utilize them well.

HEY! Where's Never Say Never Again?!
Some would argue it's validity as a "real" Bond film.

From Wikipedia
A legal loophole allowed Kevin McClory to release a remake of Thunderball titled Never Say Never Again in 1983. The film, featuring Sean Connery as Bond, is not considered an "official" James Bond film because it is not part of the Bond film franchise from EON Productions and United Artists, although it is currently owned by United Artists parent MGM. Its original theatrical release in October 1983 actually created a situation in which two Bond movies were playing in cinemas at the same time, as the "official" EON Bond film, Octopussy was still playing in cinemas. Since then, MGM has bought the name "James Bond", preventing a repeat of this episode.

IMO, if On Her Majesty's Secret Service counts, then Never Say Never Again counts.

Also missing from the list: the other Casino Royale. Before Dr. No, there was a crazy TV movie where they made James Bond American. I've never seen it, but all reports I've heard say it was baaaad.

My favourite: the new Casino Royale. I like how the Daniel Craig movies are grittier and IMO more true to the original stories.

My least favourite: probably a tie between the Man with the Golden Gun and Moonraker.

If I had to break the tie, I'd have to pick Moonraker, since the Man with the Golden Gun gets bonus points for having a nipple as a plot element.

Every Bond movie is but a footnote to From Russia with Love.

My vote is:

"I know what James Bond is, but I don't like it."

That option isn't there. I just don't like those movies.
I haven't seen all of them of course. I thought there
were only about 5 of them out there......

This now means your opinion on all issues is now invalid. Sorry but them are the rules.

Just so you know Penguin: Dr. No came out in 1962. The original Casino Royale with Peter Sellers, David Niven, Orson Welles, and Woody Allen, was 1967.

The only Daniel Craig Bond flick I have seen thus far was Casino Royale, but I thought it gave one the feel of the originals. I did feel as though it was a modernized version in the same vein as the old Dr. No and From Russia With Love. Liked it a lot, especially in comparison to the horrible Roger Moore movies.
I read somewhere that the producers are trying to get Michael Sheen (Underworld, Frost/Nixon, the Queen) to play the part of Blofeld in the next D. Craig flick.
If they can land him, he would be an awesome choice.......

When I saw On Her Majesty's Secret Service, I almost thought I was watching some parody. Roger Moore bad? That guy who did OHMSS is FAR, FAR worse!

American James Bond? DOESN'T COUNT!
