Books for atheists?

Creature

- Atheist
Hey,

I am wondering if you guys have any book recommendations that are great not necessarily for people yet to be convinced of atheism (such as "The God Delusion"), but books that are enjoyable for atheists to read, are from a non-religious perspective and don't go into trying to refute religious thought (as this is simply assumed from the get-go).

All the best!

I recently read "A Brief History of Time" by Stephen Hawking. You might like it. I may have to read it a second time, though. Even written for laymen, it still requires some deep thought.

"The Life You Can Save", definitely. And "How Are We to Live?"

I'm very fond of Peter Singer.

Friend Creature,

Books for atheists?

Though never read any book where 'atheism' is a religion however personally have and still read books on various paths/ways/religions from the point of view of an 'atheist' as atheism is as per wiki:
Atheism is, in a broad sense, the rejection of belief in the existence of deities.[1][2] In a narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities.[3][4][5] Most inclusively, atheism is the absence of belief that any deities exist.[4][5][6][7] Atheism is contrasted with theism,[8][9] which in its most general form is the belief that at least one deity exists.[9][10]
and since do not have beliefs of any kind consider myself an atheist and find all such books to be of tremendous value for an atheist point of view.
