Are child beauty pageants child abuse? Is it morally right for kids under 10 to get spray tans, false teen, and wigs for pageants? Is it against our belief? What do you think?

Child beauty pageants are an abomination (to use a biblical term). They're sick and disgusting and should never have come about.

I agree with all of the previous posters. I find beauty pageants to be disgusting, and I'm not even fond of pet shows.

How about taking the kids to the park instead? They can even walk the dog that the people have been training while they're there!

I wish I could meet a mother who enters her children in such things, just so that I could tell her off.

I agree with every poster above.

Though I must clarify, I wouldn´t by far put pet shows in the same level. I don´t watch them, but at least they are not child beauty pageant level of sick (if any?)

I shall go to the mods and report a change in frubal law must be had. Obviously, it is ilogical to not allow Revoltingest be frubaled more than once in a row. I am talking from real life experience here :bow:

I think it's horrible. Every little girl is beautiful in God's eyes; why does she need to be part of a 'beauty pageant?' So the parents can win money 'for her daughter's education'? So that she can grow up having certain expectations of beauty?

I'm never going to be for it, and I hope that if I ever do have children, I will never have them enter some beauty pageant to exploit a child's sense of magic and wonder, and destroy it for some materialism and 'entertainment.'
