I don't believe that tripe for a New York minute like You Tube pledging not to lengthen its unskippable ads.

I'm 100,000% sure that one day, probably within 10 years those weapons will suddenly appear.

It's a corporation after all , CEOs will come and go, subsidiaries get formed, money and profit will be its dominant decider.

War and population control is a money machine alongside the power hungry elites.

It will happen at some point. I'd like to see people say it will never happen down the road.

They can also license the technology to other companies, some of which will either not have the original company's resolve, or will be more apt targets for espionage...and as noted, owners change over time, and as conditions change...

Amd there you have lost me. These popular control conspiracies make absolutely no sense. For one, if they want to actually do they will just do it. Two, there's no one who would really benefit from it. Such as China, where the one child policy will shrink the population not only from so many people basically not replacing themselves, it's going to shrink it much further once the consequences of a massive imbalance of men to women are born with many females being aborted in favor of a couple's one child being male.
How much power and sway do you think they'll have once that one comes home to roost? How do you think it will effect them in light of how the one child only policy has already effected them?

Or it might actually hold. Some corporations do stick to such promises, like one where the CEO pays everyone $75,000 a year (his own cut isn't extravagantly large due to this).
And it's advanced robotics. It's not like you're really losing out on much in such a "they come directly to you" sort of product because there will be other buyers knocking on their doors.

They might not, but others will likely acquire their technology and weaponize it themselves. In fact some already have, to BD's chagrin.
