I have had correspondence with Gabbard who has attended HAF, she is a Democrat from Hawaii, went with Sanders, she is an American Hindu with ISKCON roots who took her oath of office on the Bhagavad Gita, she was in the military, she is being called by Trump for a position in his administration though I have no idea if she would take it. As more info comes, we will know.
Both Trump's son and daughter have attended Hindu temples, and his son gave puja to Sita Ram.
