British humor always left me scratching my head and wondering wtf? o_O

I thought I'd start a thread that would enrich the forum with some British humor. Do you have any enriching British humor you'd like to share?

Generally speaking, I love British humor. Back in the 1960's my favorite t.v. program was "The Avengers".

Lotsa tongue-in-cheek stuff.

BTW, most of the best movies I've seen in recent years are from the UK, such as "The Theory of Everything", "The Imitation Game", "Me Before You", etc.

What? Me worry?
Probably the funniest show I have ever seen was on the BBC. It was "Mrs. Brown's Boys". If you haven't seen an episode, do yourself a favor and You Tube it. But, full disclosure, it's more Irish than British.

Too many to mention. I was raised on British comedy.
Reruns mostly but having a Brit for an uncle is a sure fire way to be educated lol
Monty Python's movies, Blackadder (mostly season 2 onwards) Mr Bean, Faulty Towers, Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em, even Are You Being Served managed to get a chuckle out of me. I remember watching Keeping Up Appearances as a kid when it aired and even that gentle sitcom is pretty fun. Brits love being the underdog, the one taking the falls. Americans generally seem to want to be the hero. It has it's good points and exceptions to that rule, but I find Brit comedy more endearing.
