Um, one man's exploitation, is another man's self empowerment?
Do you think the dancers would know better than the average person on the street whether they were exploited or not?
Honestly though, I'd much rather be watching this:

YouTube - Indian Pole Gymnastics
That's some crazy, crazy stuff right there!
As an American consumer and worker, I feel more and more exploited as time goes one.
Maybe I should take up stripping...

I'm confident that audiences would pay me big money to put my clothes back on.
British Strippers Feel Empowered, not Exploited.
It turns out that British erotic dancers feel their job empowers them, rather than exploits them. What do you make of that?
No brainer. Don't do a ****e job unless it pays well.
Doesn't surprise me at all. Out of all the strippers I've known, I've only known one who didn't like her job, and she used her earnings to purchase her own business, so all in all it was worth it.
One friend of mine is the third generation in her family to be a stripper. She used her earnings to buy a house and put herself through school. The whole family is proud of both their skill and their earning power.
That depends on various circumstances. I can't easily answer that question without overgeneralizing.Do you think the dancers would know better than the average person on the street whether they were exploited or not?
