Although,
We often would rather forget
She exists
You have been her
We bear witness
To her silence
And malicious treatment
When she's afraid to answer back

And it's no one else's business
The renactment on our dolls
And in our homes

Broken glasses
Pressed against the wall
Speechless

That burns and churns
And rises up from the underground
