Brooklyn Boy Found in Pieces

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
This poor mother. What a tragedy. I don't believe in the death penalty, but these sorts of crimes make me reconsider my pro life position.

Now that that is out of the way, this is a not uncommon problem.
I once had a computer tech working for me who turned out to be a serial killer.
He was pulled over in Utah with a trunk full of people in coolers. And that was
just the tip of the iceberg. One should always be aware that threats abound.

What is wrong with some people? How could someone do that :(

That poor mother will forever blame herself for allowing him to walk home.

Too bad they didn't let him out on bail this morning. I would have had fun with my soldering iron.

He was less notorious than the celebrities you listed.
I knew him by his alias, Steve Britton....

He did much more & much worse than is mentioned in the above article.

How do you figure what he did is much worse? I'll grant you "more" because it's two victims instead of just this one... but it sounds very similar. Murder and dismemberment. Perhaps you know something I don't. Perhaps you wouldn't mind sharing with us.

These killers are no different from ordinary people. Ordinary people too are consumed with greed and hatred, and the only thing preventing them from committing crime is 'fear of the law'. So-called psychopaths, otoh, do not have such compulsions, it appears. So there isn't any fundamental difference between us and them, so let's not feel morally superior.

The cops told me he had a daughter on the east coast. He shook her so badly that she'll never be able to sit up or even feed herself. He had killed others, & was planning more. He'd visit homeless shelters in Detroit on the pretext of looking for workers to put back on their feet. Actually, he'd interview them for the purpose of stealing their identity (& then killing them). He physically preyed on vulnerable people (eg, women, kids, bums), but he even stole from & tried to steal the ID of a local computer store owner he worked for. But what he allegedly did to his daughter is the worst.

Ok then.

I'm not sure why it was necessary to compare the two to begin with.

You're right. The guy you know is worse. But I'm not sure why you felt it was necessary to one-up this story.
