Buddhist 'puja in the home' report

Hi guys, it's me again. I'm back in need of a knowledgeable helping hand for my religious studies Buddhist 'puja in the home' report. I've done a little research on the net but haven't been able to find the details I’m after. Could someone be so kind and tell me what they know? I need to know the following things;

What is puja?

Who is involved?

What are its main features?

What does it look like?

What is the order of each practice? (I’m certainly lacking in this area)

How is each aspect of the devotion symbolic?

What teachings of the Buddha are reflected?

How is puja of value to the Buddhist? How does it influence the life of the adherent?

What does puja mean to the ordinary lay Buddhist (similar to the one above, I know)

It would be great if I could get some feedback from a real Buddhist adherent who practices puja themselves, though, if you aren’t and still just want to contribute some information from your knowledge- feel free!

Thankyou!
