I'm a man but the other day I brought some deodorant spray that was branded as being for women

I brought some feminine deodorant spray

It was 20p cheaper than any deodorant spray that was branded as being for men

I would most certainly do so again

It doesn't smell womanly, it smells like deodorant spray!

This does not offend my masculinity!

Does anyone else do this?

I bought (womens) lotion for my itchy skin that my wife decided she liked. It has a faint vanilla smell. I've also bought women's shoes because I have narrow (B) feet and finding shoes (men's 10B) is hard. And when buying compression socks, sometimes those gendered female are better.

I think it's past time to get over the gender nonsense in such things. Some things look better on a woman's figure and some on a man's. Some work better with a women's bodily chemistry and some with a man's. Outside of that we should not care.

A slightly different but related take...

I'm a runner and historically running shoes were sold as either male or female. There is an increasing range of shoes that are just marketed as....shoes.

Not sure what this means for restroom usage though.

A lot of scents are sold with no gender "attachment." Not necessarily the big brands (yet?). My wife recently bought me a bottle of scent from an independent scent shop. None of the (many) scents they made and sold had any suggestion of who "should" be wearing it. I just chose one I liked the best. (Called "faith is", seeing as you ask :flushed: )

I wear men's deodorant when mine runs out. I do have to spray cologne before applying, though, or it doesn't work at all. Women's deodorant seems to work better on me.

I often hear women complain that their clothing
costs more, has no pockets, & doesn't last.
Buy men's clothing.
Not all will fit well, eg, pants, but overalls will
accommodate any body type. And then no
purse will be needed (cuz extra pockets)!

Yes, because I don't believe in gender. It's all just marketing flim flam to me. I know what I want, and look past all the nonsense and flim flam.

Before I got fat (i.e. weighing 52 kg at 1.75 m height) it was near impossible to find trousers in the men's section. Didn't bother me as I could get what I needed in women's section. And some of them even had real pockets.

Of course I do. I don't care about superficial gendered marketing.

I don't think I have, but I certainly would if it was unscented. I am constantly looking for unscented products. Most things I use are not marketed towards one gender or the other. I don't want to smell like flowers, but I also don't want to smell like a pine tree.

Do "women's" shirts/blouses still button the opposite way to "men's"? I mean opposite in terms of which side the button and button-hole is. They used to.

I'm a woman and I wear men's Old Spice deodorant because it's the only one I've ever found that doesn't leave white marks on my clothes. (Despite the fact that women's brands are often advertised as "not leaving marks" even though they all do).

I think some still do. I have a "men's" jacket that zips on the opposite side of my "women's" jackets.
I've never understood why this is.

I find men's razors 10x better than women's.

Men's socks tend to be better.

Deodorant is neutral.

Male underwear lasts waaaay longer than women's.

I wear men's cardigans in winter, and mens tee shirts in summer.
Hubby and i use the same mens deodorant, Axe marine (French version of Lynx) because i like the smell. Mens razors are better
We won't have "man size" tissues in the house, when the men of the house get a cold they use dainty, woman size tissues.

Oh yeah, I find men's razors to be much better too.
