Baha'u'llah got His direction from God when He received a Revelation from God.
He did not need the Qur'an or the Bible to know the God's truth since God taught Him the knowledge of all that had been.

“O KING! I was but a man like others, asleep upon My couch, when lo, the breezes of the All-Glorious were wafted over Me, and taught Me the knowledge of all that hath been. This thing is not from Me, but from One Who is Almighty and All-Knowing. And He bade Me lift up My voice between earth and heaven, and for this there befell Me what hath caused the tears of every man of understanding to flow. The learning current amongst men I studied not; their schools I entered not. Ask of the city wherein I dwelt, that thou mayest be well assured that I am not of them who speak falsely. This is but a leaf which the winds of the will of thy Lord, the Almighty, the All-Praised, have stirred. Can it be still when the tempestuous winds are blowing? Nay, by Him Who is the Lord of all Names and Attributes! They move it as they list. The evanescent is as nothing before Him Who is the Ever-Abiding. His all-compelling summons hath reached Me, and caused Me to speak His praise amidst all people. I was indeed as one dead when His behest was uttered. The hand of the will of thy Lord, the Compassionate, the Merciful, transformed Me. Can any one speak forth of his own accord that for which all men, both high and low, will protest against him? Nay, by Him Who taught the Pen the eternal mysteries, save him whom the grace of the Almighty, the All-Powerful, hath strengthened. The Pen of the Most High addresseth Me saying: r not. Relate unto His Majesty the Sháh that which befell thee. His heart, verily, is between the fingers of thy Lord, the God of Mercy, that haply the sun of justice and bounty may shine forth above the horizon of his heart. Thus hath the decree been irrevocably fixed by Him Who is the All-Wise.”

All false prophets profess to get their insights from God. That doesn't prevent them from being false prophets. You are spouting goulash, and nothing of consequence. The least could do was spout something original.

I'm not sure that you're correct about that, but if you are, you're making my point about America being undesirable to many including Mexicans. I'm not saying that America is the worst place to live, just that many people prefer to be elsewhere, and I would add that living there is a poor value, especially for a retiree.
Everybody is fleeing the Progressive cities, such as Los Angelos, San Francisco, Portland, Chicago and New York. They are fleeing them for conservative states, such as South Carolina, Florida, Texas and Tennessee. The same is happening in Canada. Because of the high energy tax, some people can't afford heat, and Canada is kind of a cold country in the winter.

You call it forcing things down people's throats and describe how easy it is to say no to it. Earlier, you were bemoaning being censored when not a single word you've wanted to post has been censored. You seem discontent over nothing.
I don't know, I have been given warnings by the administrators around a dozen times whenever one of you guys get their feelings hurt and report they are melting. I don't really think the administrators find my post out of line, but they have to do something every time a snowflake complains. I am content to listen to you guys, because every time you speak you expose yourselves. I can say no to government, media, and the pharmaceutical industry, whereas you will have a harder time. If the sky falls, I have timber in the country, which has food, water, energy, and security measures. On the other hand, you apparently think Trudeau will save you, and keep you warm, as you keep voting him into office. Once Canada loses power, you have about 3 days before you are without food, water, transportation, and security. As for you saying you are not going to answer my posts, well, that apparently is never going to happen. Metis stops and starts, and he is the only one that kind of follows through, but always breaks down and responds. It is like with the Sovereign Citizens, they say they will not speak, but in the end, they can't help themselves. The best you can do is throw stones at me and actual "scripture", which is the basis of this forum.

It is fully original, more original than anything contained in the Bible, with is nothing but the writings of men, nothing of consequence.

Wow.... everybody. About 50 million people I guess. Going to put a bit of a burden on those other states. I wonder how they plan to handle the infrastructure needs for such a huge migration.

So, unlike Mohammad, or Moses, Baha was not a man?
Like Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad, Baha'u'llah was a man with a twofold nature.

It is the spiritual nature from which Jesus and Baha'u'llah and all Messengers of God declared that they were the Voice of God, but from their human mature they declared that they were just a human like the rest of us.

“Unto this subtle, this mysterious and ethereal Being He hath assigned a twofold nature; the physical, pertaining to the world of matter, and the spiritual, which is born of the substance of God Himself. He hath, moreover, conferred upon Him a double station. The first station, which is related to His innermost reality, representeth Him as One Whose voice is the voice of God Himself. To this testifieth the tradition: “Manifold and mysterious is My relationship with God. I am He, Himself, and He is I, Myself, except that I am that I am, and He is that He is.” …. The second station is the human station, exemplified by the following verses: “I am but a man like you.” “Say, praise be to my Lord! Am I more than a man, an apostle?”
Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, pp. 66-67

The Prophets (Messengers of God) got their spiritual nature from God before they were born into this world because they existed in the spiritual world with God before they were born into this world.

(96) PRE-EXISTENCE - of Prophets
The Prophets, unlike us, are pre-existent. The soul of Christ existed in the spiritual world before His birth in this world. We cannot imagine what that world is like, so words are inadequate to picture His state of being.

It's interesting that you consider this evidence that the messenger was channeling a god rather than writing all of this himself and attributing it to a god. I could have written that as could millions of other people. It's just a flowery exhortation to be pious replete with unevidenced claims. Here's some more, but from the pen of an unaided human being (me):

"The angels hath reveled in the radiance of the Most Elevated, from whom the wisdom of the Infinite doth flow and batheth them in the glow of more stars than there are grains of sand. Can any man high or low, who is but a flickering flame in the winds of time, knoweth more than a speck compared to the Lord of Lords. Nay I say. O holy!" Throw in a few more haths, behests, spakes, exceedings, formations like "studied not" and "entered not," verbs ending in -eth, and one can go on generating this stuff forever. AI can do it, too.
On the other hand, you apparently think Trudeau will save you, and keep you warm, as you keep voting him into office.
You're confused. I'm an American living in Mexico. I don't need saving. I saved myself.
As for you saying you are not going to answer my posts
More confusion on your part. You don't seem to be able to tell one of us from another. I never posted that. I like answering your posts. I agree with the others about you, but that's no reason for me to put you on ignore. I've learned from you, but not what you might think.
I don't know, I have been given warnings by the administrators around a dozen times whenever one of you guys get their feelings hurt and report they are melting. I don't really think the administrators find my post out of line, but they have to do something every time a snowflake complains.
Interesting how you frame that. Others are snowflakes because they correct your bad manners, and you are reprimanded by the mods for no better reason than to appease these snowflakes. Of course, you play no part in any of that. You're just the victim of weaker, thin-skinned posters and spineless, unprincipled moderators.
I can say no to government, media, and the pharmaceutical industry, whereas you will have a harder time.
I have no desire to say no to them about everything they offer. I benefit from them all.

But I too, prefer a simpler, smaller life than the one that appeals to Americans, albeit not like a survivalist as it seems you've chosen. We go almost everywhere on foot or if by car, within five miles of home. We're virtually never in the city and don't fly anymore. A tank of gas is good for 2-3 months. My wife is presently out on foot to pick up some garbanzo beans she ordered through Amazon. We spend very little, most going to groceries and restaurants. Yesterday, we walked for Chinese food (we take our own reusable to-go containers). I wear no jewelry except a wedding ring, and haven't worn a tie in over a decade. I'm extremely lo-tech: no watch, don't have a cell phone of my own (my wife carries one), have never telephoned anybody on a cell phone or received a call on one, and have never tweeted or texted, etc..

But our life is not austere. We have all the necessary appliances and other conveniences, satellite TV, water purification system (filters, UV light, and reverse osmosis), air conditioning, solar panels, security cameras, etc., so we're not roughing it by any means.
Everybody is fleeing the Progressive cities, such as Los Angelos, San Francisco, Portland, Chicago and New York. They are fleeing them for conservative states, such as South Carolina, Florida, Texas and Tennessee.
I don't believe your unsupported claims, but let's stipulate to them. Why tell me? I have no American problems anymore, remember? Almost nothing that happens in America affects me. Want to shut down the government? Want to outlaw same-sex marriage? Want to suppress voting? Want to ban books? Want to give more tax breaks to the wealthy? Want to reelect Trump? Want to shoot up a church or a theater? Want to end Medicare? They're all bad ideas and I oppose them all, but I am unaffected whatever is chosen.

Fleeing to the South seems like a pretty bad option to me. I can't imagine even visiting there again. And where can one go in America today that isn't threatened by extreme weather now or in the near future (drought, fire, lethal heat, polar vortices, atmospheric rivers, tornadoes, hurricanes, blizzards, flooding, etc. and all getting worse annually)? It's at the worst latitudes for North America. Canada and Mexico are both preferable locations compared to America.

I never said that this was evidence.

What does this mean to you? :

Me: "Let's stipulate to the fact that the messenger's god exists, and the messenger knows that he has heard from it. How do you know that? How do you distinguish the genuine messenger from the ordinary guy who claims that he heard from a god but didn't? In the past, your answer has been his words and his life. Which words and which acts distinguish the true messenger from the false one for you?"

You: "All of His words and All of His life."

Me: "So his every word and deed reveals that he is truly channeling a deity for you? None of it does for me. Or maybe you are saying that none of it by itself is evidence for a god, but all of it considered collectively is."

I understood that to mean that the evidence that Baha'u'llah was who he claimed to be - somebody bringing a message from God to man - and not deluded or a fraud was in all of his words and deeds, which would include the passage that you are now saying you never called evidence.

If Mexico is so safe, why the need for the high tech security cameras? I have to assume that you are using your wife's high tech computer to send out this message. It seems that you probably left a Progressive US state to seek a survivalist lifestyle. I mean I ate eggs and beef for breakfeast, not cabazzo beans.

Californians are fleeing, but mostly to Texas, but they are apparently undermining other states as well. You seem to have contracted a terminal case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. You left out about the Transgender shooting up a school, Muslims shooting up a Gay bar, or that Medicare has already spent their funds, and that the pyramid scheme of support is coming to an end. Requiring ID is not a suppression of voting. To drive, rent or buy a house, go into a federal building, to collect Social Security or benefits, to purchase liquor or cigarettes, to pick up garbanzo beans from Amazon, all require ID. Or do you not have an ID, and your wife does all the lifting? You sound like a "woke" Progressive, who relies heavily on your wife. What America does, affects the whole world. Biden giving billions to Iran, led the Iran funneling of money to insurgents around Israel, and the support of terror. Ukraine giving money to Hunter Biden, apparently now has the US funding the federal government of Ukraine, as well as their social security payments. When most of the US banks fail, due to the current commercial real estate market crash, as well as those in China, due to their real estate collapse, it will affect everyone in the whole world. Simple. I don't go to doctors, nor do I go out and get vaccine shots, of any kind. They can't take my job, because I am self-employed. I purchase and grow my own food. It has been the Progressive government and the pharmaceutical industry which has been forcing things down people's throats. I subscribe to neither. I owe no one and have alternate energy sources. When the sky falls, I have food, water, fuel, shelter, and security. What do you have to remain secure from the government and their edicts? All you have is a stool to yell your warmed-over ideas from.

And yet you're sitting at your computer or typing on your phone, using electronic communication overseen and regulated by the government. Also, you must buy some items, such as food, tools or housewares, probably using a credit card or (government) cash. Where do you get the fuel and materials for shelter? And if you're "self-employed", then you're selling good and/or services.

BTW, neither the government nor the pharmaceutical industry have been "forcing things down people's throats". Medical care, including vaccinations, is entirely voluntary.

In summary, you're not as independent as you claim to be.

I am a slum lord, who sits back and collects money from people. The only thing the government does is make the profession of providing reasonable housing to people more difficult, to the point that in Progressive cities, that it cost over 1.7 million dollars to provide a single public toilet, which can not be completed until 2025. California’s $1.7 Million Toilet Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things
One of my tenants is a nurse, who was required to get a vaccine, and wear a mask to go to work. Her daughters were required to get vaccinated and wear masks to go to school. The government also closed schools and courts. They also closed churches. The U.S. military service dismissed any military who would not get the vaccine. Restaurants were closed, except in the case of for Gavin Newsom.
You may remember, back in the heyday of California’s brutal COVID-19 lockdown regime — where most indoor dining was shut down and patrons were forced, by law, to wear masks at almost all times and remain in small groups — Newsom was photographed maskless and mingling at a large birthday party at a Michelin-starred restaurant called the French Laundry.

So far, we haven't needed them. We have them because we can.

You feel like you need a gun. I would too if I lived like the Unabomber.
It seems that you probably left a Progressive US state to seek a survivalist lifestyle. I mean I ate eggs and beef for breakfeast, not cabazzo beans.
I was born and raised in California, but my last US residence prior to expatriation was the reddest part of a red state surrounded by red states - you know, people that said "Y'all" and "Bless your heart!" and ate Moon Pies and drank Mountain Dew.

Did you mean garbanzo beans? Yes, we eat those. We like them as snacks air fried.

I don't eat breakfast unless it's in a restaurant, and I eat very little red meat ever. When I do, it's a condiment, like in stews and Chinese food. I can't recall my last steak or hamburger.

My lifestyle is not survivalist. My world is small, uncomplicated, and low-tech, but that's by design. We have everything the world has to offer that we want or can use, we are surrounded by natural beauty outdoors and art in our home (my wife loves stained glass and I love neon, and we collect [Sergio] Bustamonte), there's nobody and no place not close by that we want to visit (bt;dt), our tastes are inexpensive, prices here are excellent, and the weather is excellent.
You seem to have contracted a terminal case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
You support him despite him being a rapist, responsible for hundreds of thousands of Covid deaths, an insurrectionist, demented, a continual liar, a professional grifter and career criminal, facing 88 felony charges in four trials, and twice impeached. Good choice!

I want to see him broke, humiliated, furious, and in prison.

Which of us is deranged?
You sound like a "woke" Progressive, who relies heavily on your wife.
Yes, I do, and she on me.
What America does, affects the whole world.
If America has any effect on me, it is impalpable. It would have to be in food prices, which aren't an issue.

Trump is suing several high-income media people for calling him a convicted rapist. He was on civil trial for rape, and was not convicted for rape, but for sexual abuse, much like smelling someone's hair against their will. As you judge Trump, and want to take his money, so will you be judged. Say goodbye to your 401 K in the coming inflationary depression, and a 28% mandatory cut from your social security check, when the Treasury runs out of money. You know that the lady, E. Jean Carroll, that charged Trump 20 years after some made up charges, went on television, and said she wasn't rape raped, but the judge refused the defense from airing that interview. More like in the sense that everything is sexual for her, as in her cat and dog are both called "vagina". She is a sex advisor columnist. Somehow in her dreams, Trump turned her down, and there is nothing worse than a scorned woman, in real or in their dreams. A woman claiming abuse is to be believed by Californians, with regards to preponderance of evidence. Trump wasn't the only one E. Jean claimed raped her. The only sex she probably gets is in her mind. Those eating "Moon pies", are not so easily deceived. The issue from America, is Amazon will stop delivering your garbanzo beans. As for having a gun, it is best to have one and not need one, versus needing one and not having one. Not that someone like yourself should have one, which luckily you can't, being in Mexico. I think both impeachments failed, and the four trials are falling apart, and Trump's polls keep rising. Maybe you should invest in Moon Pie. Inc. As for Covid deaths, Trump stopped planes flying in from China, the source of the covid, which was pooh poohed by the current administration and called racist. The current administration blocked information about affective treatments. No, Montezuma may find where you live, and he has his own revenge.

If you mean that in a biblical sense, that's for believers to worry about. And I don't mind being judged.
the four trials are falling apart
The first criminal trial starts in less than two weeks. It will be his second sexual scandal judgment, but this time he'll be sentenced to prison.

The Georgia election interference trial will likely start right after that finishes.

The other two are awaiting the Supreme Court's ruling on absolute immunity from crime for Trump, after which the third and fourth trials can begin.

It looks like they'll be indicting him in Arizona soon for election tampering. And he has been sued civilly multiple times stemming from J6.
Trump turned her down, and there is nothing worse than a scorned woman
I believe her, but I wouldn't mind if she were making it all up. Trump made her credible with his grab-them-by-the-***** comment.

It's just like with his claims that the election was stolen from him. I don't believe him, but I wouldn't mind if that were true. One just cannot be unfair to a person like him.
Trump's polls keep rising
You think so? Trump doesn't do better than 80% in the primaries even when running unopposed. And after his conviction in the porn star case, he'll be liked even less. He'll lose more of the swing voters. Centrists and right-centrists won't vote for him. Some will vote for Biden and some won't vote at all.
He was on civil trial for rape, and was not convicted for rape, but for sexual abuse
He's a rapist.

Why do you object to that being said? You'd still be carrying water for even if he had been criminally convicted of rape. Because Trump's criminality doesn't matter to MAGA.

Later, he'll be convicted for crimes arising from his failed self-coup and for stealing state secrets, and you'll still like him, right?

So, smelling someone hair is the same as sexual assault, the latter of which Trump bragged he could do with women? That's like saying a firecracker is the same as a nuclear bomb.

The current administration blocked information about affective treatments.

Example?

BTW, did you ingest bleach like Trump told you as a cure?

Also, the impeachments didn't "fail" as he was convicted on both even though the Senate refused to remove him.

Trump said that the rich and famous could grab a p*ssy. Which is a true statement, as Biden was accused of sexual impropriety. Sorry to bust your bubble, but the present president Biden, is often smelling the hair of children who seem to be in distress over the confrontation. Here are all the times Joe Biden has been accused of acting inappropriately toward women and girls Trump was found guilty by a New York jury of "sexual abuse", not sexual assault or rape. You want me to forward your false statement to the Trump team who is suing people making false statements. Or should I just tell God that you have forgotten the 9th commandment and are making a false witness against your neighbor? Or is it good enough that you are loving your neighbor (Trump), with your whole heart?

The House of Representatives brings articles (charges) of impeachment against an official, but only the Senate can find him guilty. Trump was not found guilty, although the weight of the Judicial system and the intelligent system were improperly used against him, with jail and firings being laid upon justice employees for their acts. And no, Adam Schiff did not have any evidence, despite his assertions. Shiff was sanctioned for that lie, but apparently, someone still beliefs him. As for people ingesting bleach, that type of idea would only be receptive among the woke who today still wear their masks. Do you notice that a lot of the current theft in retail stores is done by mask wearers? I wonder if the best use of masks is for theft. Whereas bleach would be the cheapest product for disinfecting most surfaces.
