Yes, it says a bunch of idiots think hand sanitizer is more effective than soap and water; it isn't!!

I should explain my question, yes?

The trouble with soap and water is that most folks have not got it with them.... all the time! The other point is that alcohol cleanser kills germs rather than just wash them off.

And we already know that where washing facilities are available many people can't be bothered to use them, AND they CANNOT use hand towels afterwards, AND we have been getting rid of paper towel convenience. You see?

Another point, when laymen like you and I start to call our best doctors and medics idiots, it's time to look back at ourselves, I think. OK?

We're not worried here in the U.S. Trump's in charge; he's got everything under control. According to him:

I'll bet President Trump could forget that he said the above.
I sometimes wonder whether it was his attitudes (back then) which enabled so many Americans to dismiss coronavirus as a mere nothing.

Oh well..... he has been doing better since those days.

Soap is more effective at fighting the corona virus, alcohol products are less effective because they don't involve washing off the hands.

Hi.... I hope you're OK in isolation and finding plenty to keep you occupied each day. I reckon that I and all other oldies here will be in some kind of compulsory isolation very soon.

Well..... I waited three weeks to answer your point above. In three weeks I have not seen one single person washing their hands..... they all use purchased or home made hand cleanser, and now I know why.

When people get home they cleanse their hands before they ever get in through the front door because the advise is 'Cleanse your hands before you get home and touch all your door handles'.

Folks here have hand cleanser bottles in their cars, pockets, hand bags (I don't use one of those), rucksacks etc etc because there is not one single wash basin anywhere apart from in public toilets and folks seem to be staying clear of those.

Your doctors were right, dead right, but they just didn't go out and look to see if there were any handwash facilities.

It's been a learning curve for all of us.
