The truth is that only God is God; but God is also the individuality, identity, and the reality of each one of us. Man is not God. God being infinite, God appears as infinite individuality. God appears as the allness of you and of me. When we have overcome the temptation to be concerned about that little personal “I”, when we are no longer taking thought for that little personal self, then we can say, “I am God,” because then it is actually true. The universal “I am” is the infinite individuality of God. God’s omnipresence is manifested throughout all of creation.
