Can God still talk to us in our dreams like in 1 Samuel 28:6?

Mind you, I’m not arguing for or against the proposition that G-d can speak to humans via dreams, I’m simply pointing out that the text you’ve asked about really doesn’t address the issue.

Care to cite to another piece of scripture that is on point?

Not us. Some people perhaps, certainly not me.

Of course they must be in dreams, or in people's heads, because there is no real actual God that ever talks in real life.

No, it wouldn't be prudent.

I think we need to be very close to God to experience that.
I might have come close when I was younger, but can never be sure.

I wouldn't want to say too much, other than I thought I saw a prophet of God in a dream. It was very exhilarating.
Nothing was said, mind you. :)
