Charity of your choosing? It's a scam people... Just like UNICEF. It's the perfect front for a money laundering operation. No one can keep track of all those kids with the little orange boxes of change...

SHHHH. Some people believe everything they read and this would be defamatory for Owner. Wouldn't it?

If my memory serves me right, I remember some forums show sticky thread on the "New Posts" tab. Is there such an option for this forum software? Some forums also have a yellow bar on top of the forum page for updates and important notices. That sound like a good function to me.

I do not believe its a scam. I think our new owner, Rex, made a very generous offer, and we should show him some appreciation.

Also, I think Rex is showing the best side of entreprenuerial spirit. He is bringing new ideas, and generously offering to support them using his own means.

Maybe, if you are respectful, Rex will let the winner suggest a couple of charities...and if they are legitimate...perhaps other posters might pledge matching gifts ... :)

Btw..I think donating to a needy family or DonorsChoose.org are very valued contributions...thanks for your generosity.

Hey Rex....here's another idea for you to think about...why not throw a charity event in the Chatroom ? We could get all the Staff to attend....there could be a Comedy Hour.....food...drinks...and a great time. At the end....you could announce the winner....and together....you and the winner could choose the charities of your choice.

What do you think ?
