I'd list all the things I could do if I woke up with telekinetic powers.
Then I'd probably take a nap.
Then I'd probably take a nap.
Make the dishes do themselves.

I would use my powers to stop natural disasters.
Feed the cats
Do my yoga session
Make coffee
Make breakfast
Make sure the children are ready for école/lycée
Clean a room, which one depends on the day of the week.
Get the washing to do itself
And hang itself out to dry or put itself in the dryer
This will take me to about 9:30.
Another coffee and continue with loads more.

Apply to secret service and also start practicing fine control such as playing piano and running complex equipment from a distance. I'd also try to levitate.

I would want to know more about this newfound capability; for example, does it take more energy and effort to use it to do things than just using my regular ability to do things with my hands, feet, etc? I suppose if the gain in the effort to feed myself using telekinetic capabilities exceeds the energy it takes to use them, then I'd be willing to use it to do stuff.
What kind of range would these power have?
Do I have to be able to see the objects I want to move in order to move them around?
Can I touch things that are very hot, very cold, poisonous (poison ivy/oak etc.), strong acids, etc?
I might consult with my lawyer in case I want to use it for good or evil to find out what laws & liabilities would apply.
Entertain guests with a magic show (finally a way to entertain them!).
Hands-free juggling.
Either to replace the batteries in my TV remote, or just directly use the powers to control my TV.
