I do but my sister disagrees

I don't think you can tell exactly how intelligent a person is (or isn't) but I think it is possible to tell whether they are bright or a bit thick, or somewhat average

Maybe I'm mistaken, I'm open to that but I don't think I am

I don't think you have to buy into eugenics in order to acknowledge that some people have stupid faces and others look intelligent

Maybe the genes that cause intelligence or stupidity also determine what type of face people have????

This is how I approach these sort of questions: I look for counter-examples. If there are counter-examples, then the proposition cannot be universally true. If I can establish that, then I attempt to evaluate how often that specific counter-example occurs and also how many other counter-examples I can think of.

Can you think of counter-examples? When would a person's facial appearance mask their intelligence? From your point of view?

Intelligence is not a physical characteristic. You can't visually see intelligence. There's no picture of it anywhere. If intelligence is a physical characteristic, then hypertension is as well, and every doctor, everywhere, ever, is incompetent.

In fact, I have lost count of the number of times I was surprised about how wrong I was when judging anothers intelligence.
