I almost ran into some trouble, but as I was checking stuff out I updated my email just in time (I don't have access to the one that was listed anymore) before it made me confirm my account.
Ya'll are lucky I could remember my password though. Things could have gotten real ugly here, real quick!

I have the same story, I noticed had a dead email account and verified with an update last night.

Yes you need to save the file to your computer. Do this by right clicking then click on save image as. Then you go to the avatar edit section and click "browse" and this brings you to your computer files. Find the file you saved then click "upload"
