Catholic Attitudes Towards other Abrahamic Religions?

Christianity has given rise to many figures who have expanded upon the traditional theology of Christianity and have given rise to their own religious groups - Mohammed has given rise to the Muslim religion, and Joseph Smith has given rise to Mormonism, as two examples, while both still revere the central figures of the Christian faith.

What is the mainstream Catholic attitude to these newer religions, and the figures that brought about these religions?
