Catholic: Practising but non-believing

What if you are confirmed Catholic, you go to mass every Sunday, you believe in God, you pray the rosary, but you do not really believe in the Catholic doctrine?

What if you genuinely, in your heart of hearts, think a lot of Catholic rules are temporary and will be changed... you support gay marriage, you support contraception... but you continue going to Catholic mass.

What if you have tried other more liberal churches, but you are still convinced that the Catholic church is your spiritual home?

Are you a hypocrite? Are you intellectually dishonest? Are you weird?
What if you take communion?

What should you do?

I'd say you are making a rash judgement.

Maybe one is just searching?

Be obedient to Jesus. That is what the Pope tells us all to do. But who wants to listen to him?

I advise you to read the Bible for yourself and ask yourself why you do the rituals you do, is it because it's just tradition (something you've grown up with) or does the Bible say you should do it
