My iphone using AT&T is functioning normally.
Alas, my fundie friends will fear that this is the
beginning of Marxists attacking the country.
One even fears an alien takeover.

No doubt MAGAmedia will claim that Biden tripped on a cable and unplugged cell phone service for the world.
My service came back around noon, around the same time my niece in CA found hers was out.

Not only in the US. My parents don't have service for 2 weeks now. Allegedly we had a sun storm with CME.

I thought it was just me and my bad luck.
Strange that I got Roger's tower while AT&T was down and I wasn't even in Canada!

Was out for several hours, have been back for a bit over half an hour with a couple more brief blips.
It occurred to me that if a CME took out the system, or a nuclear EMP set off by a bad actor like Putin, we'd probably never find out what had happened...If my phone is out AND my Dish TV is out AND the local radio stations don't have any connections...

Not only ATT nationwide outage, I lost service for about 8 hours, but Verizon and T-Mobile went down on America Pacific coast, and elsewhere in America, and some of electric fence on top of southern border wall lost power. I have a friend who used to work in that arena, and he is convinced it was a cyber attack, and he leans toward it being domestic demonstration of what can be expected if Donald Trump is not elected president again.

My first thought was it might be a solar flare or something natural occurring.
If it was a Cyber attack, it's clear we have a very shoddy defense. Now I'm going to see if there's any Red Balloons floating around in the sky.....

If it only was ATT that went down in many places, I might have believed ATT saying it was a problem in new stuff they were implementing. I told my friend a number of other countries have hackers that might have pulled it off: Russia, China, N Korea, Iran. India now also comes to mind. And Israel. That’s when my friend said he felt it was domestic and why, and I felt like the earth had fallen out form under me.
I live in a very red state. I have lots of dealings with Republicans and MAGAs, and with the other side. I don’t belong to either side. And I have been thinking since January 6, 2020, that America was headed for its 2nd civil war, with Donald Trump leading the right. I don’t care for President Biden, either, but he has not reminded me of what happened in Germany, and Donald Trump has reminded me of that.
A fellow named Trevor Ravenscroft wrote The Spear of Destiny, a chilling report of how demonic forces enhanced Hitler and his inner circle and infiltrated much of the German population.
Today I saw on TV news, Trump say Christians cannot vote for Biden, who is Catholic, whereas, I don't recall reading or hearing of Trump ever talking about attending church or reading the Bible.
Vanity Fair published an article some time before Trump got elected the first time, in which Ivana Trump was quoted as saying, when she and Donald were married, he kept a book of Hitler’s speeches in a cabinet on his side of their bed and sometimes he pulled it out at night and read it. I read a news report that, when asked about that, Trump said, if he ever had such a book, he never read it.
