What is a "centrist" precisely, when you have a forum with an international user-base, as opposed to country-specific?
In America, the centre-ground might include folks who support the Affordable Care Act but not universal payer-healthcare. Almost everywhere else in the Western world, where we already have single-payer, that would be a socially unacceptable, fringe, right-wing perspective. I can't imagine anyone claiming to be centrist, as a Brit, yet not unilaterally backing universal healthcare through the tax system.
As for myself, I sometimes identify as a "centrist"...but I'm not entirely sure if I would be viewed in this way by others. Some people might judge me to be too far left - in that I am pro-immigration, pro-EU, anti-nationalist, pro-trade unions and collective bargaining, very much pro-welfare state, support regulatory alignment across borders, in favour of land value tax and higher income tax for top-earners, believe the most stringent restrictions possible should be placed upon gun ownership etc.
Others might view me as too "right-wing" given that I am equally for free trade agreements and emphatically opposed to protectionist tariffs, prefer low corporation tax (to draw overseas investment) and foreign intervention when I deem it warranted.
I could go on but the rub is that centrism is highly subjective.
