No clue...missed half of it due to a cranky 4 year old.

From what I saw Cheney did much better than Bush did last week.

I didn't watch; I caught most of it on the radio. My feeling was that this debate won't change many votes either. It will help both sides confirm their already-made choices, though. Cheney didn't come off as an attack dog; Edwards didn't come off as a puppy.

If you are happy with how things are going, and think we should continue, you have your choice. If you want things to be done differently, you know what to do.

I accidently clikced 'Edwards' when I meant to hit 'neither.' I also think that these debates don't actually change anybody's minds, just re-enforced opinions hat everyone already held.

The two American political parties are like football teams. Whatever team you are on, you are going to rally around the quarterback of your team. Truth and facts are not important even though they should be. In the debates the VP stated that he had never met John Edwards before last night. This morning CNN showed two clips, one with the VP shaking Edward’s hand and the other showing the VP sitting beside Edward’s at a dinner. When reminded that he had met Mr. Edwards on previous occasions, he simply said he forgot.

The biggest problem is that the American public relies on 20-second sound bites to make their decision. Lack of knowledge and political history of the issues is the enemy of the American people.

A debate for Vice Presidential Candidtes is very much like nipples on a man - it's only good for titulation.

If there were a need to know about the views of possible successors to the presidency we should have debates between candidates for Speaker of the House and all those Cabinet posts.

LOL....very well said!

I was very disappointed in the VP debate. I think it was essentially a draw with neither candidate saying anything substantial. I was particularly bothered by the accusations each flung at the other without any specific examples of validate/back up their claims.
