When someone behind me honks their horn more than a specific number of times that i have set as the proper and acceptable number, i normally drive extremely slower than before, to the point where it's obvious that i'm intentionally doing it. On a few occasions i turned off the car and acted like i don't know how to drive and that the car turned off on me (though it's an automatic car).

Of course, when i do this they honk even more than before. So i have to wait - as long as need be - until they realize what's going on, embrace their shameful defeat, in the face of my cunningness, and stop honking (so that i'll start driving normally again or let them pass). Once they're through me, they honk hysterically, usually with certain swears with their honks.

At this point though the honks are actually the sign of sweet victory.

I bought Lollipop Chainsaw today. There is just something wildly amusing about fluorescent neon pink blood, stars and hearts where the gore is, a rainbow chainsaw, and a kick *** soundtrack that makes for a fun game.

S in my country it is really common for people not to give a ]|#%%! And throw garbage in the street, but I hate the attitude and never do that myself

So the other day I was walking with a friend and I saw a guy throw a little plastic black bag from his car window without paying any care to it. i got #]*! Up, stopped walked back, took the bag and told the guy "pal, you dropped this" while throwing it back inside s car.

His face of both shame and WTFkness was priceless :D (he was an older dude)

I left for work several minutes late to do something before I left, but within still enough time to actually get their on time if I drove fast enough.
But the few flurries that were falling at the time very quickly turned into very heavy snowfall that accumulated in minutes and made me fifteen minutes late for work.

My children (10 & 11) were supposed to be cleaning up after themselves, but were instead beginning a game of thwacking each other with hand towels.

When I saw what they were doing (I was sitting at the computer, on RF) I called them over to me and said, "What you are doing is wrong. You know that, don't you?"

They looked a little downcast to think that I was ending their fun. But before they could reply, I said, "You have to wet the end of towel to get a good pop out of it!" :D

I recently bought a teddy bear. Ok, not a "teddy bear", more like a "teddy elephant"... it was from India and looked so good!

As it turns out, it was made by women who survived leprocy. So my childish impulse actually did the world some good :D.

When i'm hanging out with my friends and one of them yawns, i can be found staring at that person and gasping, shocked, terrified and disappointed at their lack of decorum and disregard for the feelings of others. Similarly when anyone looks at their watch. The look is in protest to them showing any signs of being tired or bored.

So whenever someone has to yawn or forgets and proceeds to look at their watch, they start laughing even before they finish and before i do anything, knowing the events that are about to come, and i never disappoint. Sometimes one of them would look at his watch and i don't notice, so he actually keeps starting at it for a long time waiting for me to see him.

And the thing is, i'm the one who actually flat out falls asleep the most when we're hanging out. I've done it much more often than any of them has, but i always deny that it has ever happened. So they decided to get damning evidence so that they can put an end to my shameless hypocrisy. I drove out to the airport to pick one of them up, and while waiting with another in the car i fell asleep. He took pictures from all possible angles and profiles.

Surprisingly, this hasn't changed anything and it seems as if i've never been caught in the act. They're always on the defensive, having to justify themselves. Every time someone yawns or looks at their watch, i seem more terrified and mesmerized than the time before it.

Me: so.... You gonna givee some of that?

*she is eating ice cream*

Her: no, sorry There was only one

Me: hey! i am way better host than that when you are in my house!

Her: ... Npe, sorry * keeps licking icecream while watching the movie*

*I stare at her*

* she keeps eating*

* one quarter of the ice cream is gone and i keep staring*

* she keeps at it*

Her: you know you are only making it more enjoyable, right?

* sad face while keep staring while she pretends she doesnt notice and keeps watching movie*

Her: alright! Jeez! You win! *gives the ice cream*

To this day, it has never failed me. I ll admit I got the tactic from my dog... Then again, that only works for him with my mother and her friends, I never fall for it :D

Today when I checked the mail, there was a Victoria Secret's catalog addressed to my oldest(21) daughter. When I handed it to her, I said, "So you only read it for the articles, do ya?"

(If you don't get that, you are too young...or I'm too old)

LOL
"I only read Playboy for the articles"

I Read It For The Articles is the Stock Phrase people use to avoid catching any flak over liking a media product which has parts to it that are not popular or socially acceptable. It still allows them to watch or read it as a Guilty Pleasure — after all, they can't say they actually like it without facing widespread ridicule. Some have actually said "I watch it ironically" unironically.
