Christendom

I suspect that part of the issue is the difference between those who might be called "Christian in name only" and the very few who truly live a life of love.

That's not a helpful or useful definition of a Christian to a non-Christian.
Not correct. To me it is a very useful definition
But
I understand where you come from (see your quote below)

Unbelievers don't have a behavior test for Christianity. They don't need to be knowledgeable about scripture, pray, avoid sin, or go to church. They can be murderers or pornographers. If they say they're Christian, they're Christian to me. Isn't that the definition of Christian in sentences like "Christianity is the largest religion in the world," "America is a Christian nation," or "81% of white evangelical Christian Americans voted for Trump in 2016"? There's no test for Christianity in any of those beyond claiming to be one in some survey or census.
It seems that according to "Jesus" (verses from Masters) there are less Christians, and according to verses from Google there are more Christians

@Estro Felino does the argument no favor by ignoring history and the crimes committed in the name of religion (Northern Ireland for one case).
My Master (Sai Baba) advised us:
Past is past, beyond recovery, so forget the Past
Future is uncertain, so don't dwell on it
Present is Omni Present
Live in the present

Maybe @Estro Felino means this, that we should not dwell on the past, forget the past, it's history...gone (remember the lessons learned)

I am not. I just observe.
The marriage of the king of Netherlands clearly show Christians do get along.:)
That is 1 example, and being king he is trained "to get along". Also, he did not divorce, while the average divorce rate is ca 50% in Holland, which proves that the rest of the Christians do not get along so well.

I did want to start a thread in this section to make you understand that there is not much to debate within Christendom.

All Christians are just One thing. They just love Jesus our Lord.

So there is nothing divisive within Christendom.
Just Love. And faith in Jesus Christ

And a lake of fire to toss non believers into.

The last time one of our Kings did that (Charles I), we cut his head off.

The real tragedy may have been inviting the monarchy back years later.

Your country is one of the most diverse as for Christian denominations. Anglicans, Calvinists, Catholics....
The Queen of England periodically visits the Pope .
The 21st century is light years away from that.:)

England never quite managed to become a Protestant country, despite quite a lot of movement in that direction. At least, the established Anglican Church never became doctrinally Protestant. Most of the Puritans went to America, meanwhile.

That is true

What I have realized in many years of RF ...is that Christians here (all of them, Protestants, Catholics, JWs, Mormons) are wonderful people.
All of them.

All of them.
And I'm gonna add members of other faiths and also atheists and agnostics. We may disagree with each other at times, and sometimes it can get pretty heated [I've contributed to that at times:emojconfused:], but RF is a great place to meet.

Buono Pasqua, my friend.
