Our society was built around catering to the lifestyle of Christians.
not in the slightest.
Do you know what happens in our society if a group of Christians start a campaign to help the needy?
you just said that society doesn't provide for the needy. society expects for individuals to care and only if someone cares. the society is ruled by the antichrist.
The government gives them and everyone who donates to them tax breaks.
tax breaks=money=the antichrist

For those of us who have to hide our beliefs from christian friends, family, and coworkers (or suffer very real world repercussions), they might find your premise a bit hypocritical...
society is hypocritical. it's not christian at all.

Why is that? Because Christians can't make everyone follow their rules? Modern society does not stop Christians from following them. Do Christians really need agreement from everyone else?
christians are ruled by money. money is the antichrist.

@syo (and maybe @BilliardsBall ):

- what do you see as the elements of a "Christian lifestyle?"
- which of these elements do you think today's society does not allow?
- if a society did allow Christians to live a "Christian lifestyle," what would that society look like?

I don't think that money is the antichrist. It is written, "the love of manna is the root of evil." I think people have wrongly translated manna money. I think it means anything that a person selfishly pursues for his own good regardless of what it does to someone else.

An example. A couple is married and one of them finds faith in the Lord. If he or she proceeds with seeking righteousness for himself or herself without thinking of the other one, that can be considered manna. In my opinion.

Original Word: φιλαργυρία, ας, ἡ
Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine
Transliteration: philarguria
Phonetic Spelling: (fil-ar-goo-ree'-ah)
Short Definition: love of money, avarice
Definition: love of money, avarice, covetousness.

I do realize that I am stretching the meaning of avarice, but here is what I think.

I have seen people defend their faith as though they might lose it.
Avarice: An extremely strong desire (love) to keep wealth (what they value most)
If scriptures about avarice were really written about people with wealth, how many people back then could it possibly apply to? Not many. But if it means an unnatural attachment to anything then it can apply to everyone.

Kinda sorta. IMO, the fact that Christmas is derived from Pagan practices doesn't make it "not Christian." It just means that this aspect of Christianity is derivative.

A religion is defined by the beliefs and practices of its adherents, not by whether some practice of its adherents was handed down in a way that meets the criteria for authenticity that are held by a subset of the adherents of the religion.

Christians celebrate Christmas as an expression of their religion. That makes Christmas Christian, regardless of its origins.

I think that the modern version of Christmas goes far beyond its Christian roots. It is why I can celebrate the holiday without any misgivings. Rather than campaign against it I have adopted and adapted it for my own purposes.

There's no such things as dietary rules. In the NEw Testament, God says we can eat whatever
Yeah but there was something about eating fish on friday and I know some groups will not touch black pudding.
So "God says we can eat whatever". That will please the cannibals.
